The Retirement Planning Technique Book introduces a new key player to The Kugler System: Leonard J. Witman, Esq. Additionally, our estate & business planning software, Kugler System for Windows, was developed by Bruce Breeding, president of Synaptic Software and developer of the popular EstateCalc software.

FRANK L. RAINALDI, CLU, ChFC

Frank L. Rainaldi Mr. Rainaldi is one of the insurance industry's leading educators. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and a member of their School of Business Hall of Fame. He is a former Trustee of the American College, and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He currently serves as a consultant to several major financial institutions.

He began his career in insurance sales and later moved into the home office of a large life insurance company, where he became Director of Education. After running the Education Department for eight years, he returned to the field as president of a subsidiary corporation. He later served as a General Agent for over 20 years. Mr. Rainaldi is a life member of MDRT and has qualified for Top of the Table. In 2004, Frank became the first life insurance professional in the country to earn Distinguished Accredited Estate Planner award from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC).

Mr. Rainaldi has been a featured lecturer and a main platform speaker on many of the industry's national conferences. He is well known for his ability to translate highly technical subjects into easy-to-understand concepts.

Mr. Rainaldi has appeared on several national television programs, most recently CNBC's Power Lunch with Bill Griffeth. As an author, his articles have appeared in numerous professional publications. His article on QPRTs and GRATs received an award in the Journal of Society of Financial Service Professionals' Author Award Program. He has also been featured in a number of business and general interest publications, including Investor's Business Daily, Newsday and Financial Services Week.

Mr. Rainaldi is the author of The Kugler System, a complete marketing and training system used by many major life insurance companies and other financial institutions as their primary marketing and training system. The foundation of The Kugler System is a set of five different technique books (Estate Concepts, Business Concepts, Retirement Concepts, Life Insurance Products Applications and Tax Aspects, and Family Financial Needs). Each book is built around a series of mini-case problems structured to highlight the appropriate concept. The Kugler System is well known for translating highly technical academic concepts into an easy-to-follow format designed for client presentation. It also includes three software programs, PowerPoint presentations, and turnkey marketing and education programs for all five technique books.

Mr. Rainaldi is married with three children and five grandchildren.



LEONARD J. WITMAN, ESQ.

Leonard J. Witman, Esq. is a nationally noted lecturer and author in the tax, estate, elder planning and deferred compensation fields. He is a tax partner at the firm of Witman, Stadtmauer & Michaels, P.A. located in Florham Park, New Jersey. Mr. Witman is a graduate of Rutgers College and New York Law School, and a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars. He serves as an adjunct professor of law at Seton Hall University Law School and Rutgers University Graduate School of Management. He is an instructor for the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA), an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and a member of the Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He was formerly a Tax Law Specialist, instructor and lecturer with the Internal Revenue Service in the Employee Plans and Exempt Organizations Division.

Mr. Witman is a former Chairman of the New Jersey State Bar Taxation Committee. He has written extensively for numerous periodicals, including the Journal of Taxation, CLU Journal, Medical Economics, and other publications for Prentice Hall and CCH. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of Practical Accountant. He has been quoted in financial columns in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and on CNBC and CBS News. He was also listed in the 2001-2002 edition of "Best Lawyers in America."

Mr. Witman is married with two children.



WILLIAM RAINALDI, CFP®

A Lehigh University graduate, William Rainaldi is The Kugler Co's Chief Executive Officer. He has an extensive background in estate and business planning, publishing, and computers. He has been affiliated with John Hancock for the past eight years. Prior to that, he worked structuring limited partnerships for a mid-sized New Jersey broker/dealer. He is the editor of The Kugler Cases: Practical Applications in Estate and Business Planning, a book published by the American Society of CLU & ChFC and The Kugler System. He is a former Adjunct Lecturer at New York University's School of Continuing Education.

Mr. Rainaldi is married with three children. He received his CFP degree in 1986.



ERNEST P. VALLIERE

Ernest Valliere has more than 20 years experience in financial services sales, marketing, and training. His company, EPV Marketing Consultants, focuses on working with insurance companies and banks to develop selling systems training, sales communication skills programs, and market access programs.

During his career with John Hancock Financial Services, Ernest earned many company and industry awards for his developmental work of their Long Term Care Training program, Sports Marketing programs, as well as Needs Based sales training programs for College Savings, Retirement Savings, and Small Business.

Ernest lives in Warwick, RI with his wife, four children and two grandchildren. He has a BA in Political Science from Gannon University.
